The main points of the reform.
Wednesday, October 11, after yesterday’s publication of the law in the “Voice of Ukraine”, entered into force on pension reform.
The most controversial provision in the pension reform is the introduction of the compulsory accumulative level from 2019.
Under the Cabinet of Ministers has established a working group to develop a road map for its launch. If the government will agree to the introduction of a mandatory funded pillar of the pension system in the next year Ukraine is waiting for the next quite a serious phase of pension reform.
At the moment in Ukraine there is a solidary system of pension calculation.
In October 2011 Ukraine launched the first phase of pension reform, the main element of which is the gradual increase in the retirement age for women from 55 to 60 years for ten years.
This stage does not involve raising the retirement age, however, provides for raising the minimum required for retirement insurance record from 1 January 2018 from 15 to 25 years and subsequent annual increase of 1 year.
