Inflation and consumer prices in the country continue to grow.
In March of this year inflation in Ukraine compared to the same period in 2016 has accelerated to 15.1 percent from 14.2 percent.
This was reported in the state statistics.
Two weeks ago, President Petro Poroshenko said that the inflation level in 2017 should be less than 10 percent, and by 2019 – 5 percent annually.
If we compare with the previous month, February, inflation in March accelerated to 1.8 percent from 1 percent in February compared to January.
With the beginning of the year, compared with December, consumer prices in the country accelerated to 3.9 percent.
According to state statistics, in March, when compared with the year as a whole, most prices increased on hot water and heating – 88.9 percent, electricity – 63.7 per cent and natural gas 42 percent.
If compared with the previous month, in March, increased electricity prices for 28.1%, footwear 10.7 percent, and apparel – of 10.3 percent.
