Born in the United States the first clouded leopard with the help of artificial insemination.
In Nashville zoo in the US appeared first on the light of the clouded leopard as a result of applying the procedure of artificial insemination using frozen semen.
As reported on the website of the zoo, the cub was born on the 1st of March.
“This achievement is a giant step in the number of global efforts to conserve this species,” the report says.
Gave birth to a baby, the female clouded leopard named Tula, who was born and raised in the Nashville zoo. Biologists used the seed collected from a clouded leopard named Hannibal, who lives at the Smithsonian national zoo. A team of scientists successfully used a new technique of artificial insemination.
After birth, the baby was taken away from mom and feed manually to ensure survival.
