Debt of Ukrainians for gas has almost doubled.
Arrears for gas in may 2017 have almost doubled compared to the figure at the end of April and reached 11.3 billion.

According to the report, the amount owed for the maintenance of houses, constructions and house adjoining territories for the reporting period increased by 7.4% and totaled UAH 2,9 billion, the amount owed for the removal of household waste compared to the previous month has not changed and amounted to 400 million hryvnia.
Debt for centralized water supply and Sewerage increased by 28.6% and amounted to 1.8 billion hryvnia.
According to state statistics, in may the Ukrainians paid for electricity 2.7 billion hryvnia (98,6% of the assessed in this period amounts). The debt for electricity as of the end of may was 3.9 billion hryvnia.
Debt for heating and hot water in may grew by 3.4% up to 8.9 billion UAH. In may the Ukrainians paid for housing and communal services UAH 5.2 billion, which accounted for 73,6% accrued during this period amounts.
The highest level of payment was observed in the Odessa, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions (154,1%, 142,7% 134,8%, respectively) and the lowest – in Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Vinnytsia (21,6%, 25,3% and 33.4%, respectively).
It is also reported that in January-may 2017 the population was reached 19.9 thousand agreements on debt restructuring for a total amount of 107,5 million.
