The injured policeman was hospitalized
In the heart of Stockholm, a man with a knife attacked police. One of them he managed to wound in the neck.
The attack took place on one of the main squares of the city – Medborgarplatsen.
According to an eyewitness, the assailant man was about 30 years old. He approached two police officers who were patrolling the area, and hit one of them with a knife in the neck. Another police officer detained the attacker.
The injured policeman was hospitalized.
In the area of the attack was completely closed to traffic in land transport, including public. Also closed to the metro station, and the area itself is cordoned off by security forces.
The Stockholm police has not commented on the incident.
As previously reported, in Kiev, the police detained 25-the summer passenger of the Skoda Felicia, which was not only drunk, but behaved aggressively.
