Of dancing the “Macarena” 14-year-old boy could be in prison.
Saudi police released the 14-year-old, who was detained after posting online a video in which a young man is dancing “the Macarena” on the road. He was not pressing charges.
The Ministry of internal Affairs said that the young man signed a written promise that “no longer will be attracted to the behavior that may jeopardize his life and the lives of others.”
Police have not named, but noted that he is a citizen of another Arab country.
45-second video was filmed last year. On it a young man prevents the movement of the car, dancing in five-band headphones on the road in the Saudi city of Jeddah.

The young man was detained Tuesday in Mecca, after the video has suddenly gained immense popularity in social networks. He was questioned about the “improper public conduct”.
Many on Twitter have condemned the arrest of the men, calling it “an assault on childhood”.
“The arrest was the sole purpose to warn the guy about the potential consequences for its own security as for the security of motorists and pedestrians,” – said the police.
Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia arrested – characteristic dance move popular in the United States. In the conservative Arab country Western music and dancing are considered taboo.
