In the afternoon on Saturday, December 2, was found the body of boy who vanished last weekend with his father at Kanev reservoir. A terrible discovery was made by searchers near the dam in Pereiaslav-Khmelnytskyi.
As the press service of the SSES in the Kiev region, information about the body received on the operational line of the rescue service at 13:35. “Near the body of the boy found fragments of the boat. The staff of the 27th state firefighting and rescue part of the Pereyaslav-Khmelnytsky lifted the body out of the water and handed over to the National police. At the discovery place body works investigative team of the National police,” – said the rescuers.
As reported, a massive search operation in the Kanev reservoir began on November 26. The work was immediately attracted 49 rescuers, nine pieces of equipment and a helicopter. As it became known, went missing 12-year-old boy Dennis and his father Oleg, who went on a private boat to fish. The relatives gave reporters their photos in the hope that someone saw these people. “He went out on the water in camouflage pants, he was wearing a black jacket. Granddaughter rescue orange vest with them was the vest,” – said the grandfather of the missing boy.
Rescuers several days combing the waters of the Kanev reservoir. Over the water hovered a helicopter, coastline, people walked around with binoculars, but go to a rescue boat would not allow weather conditions and high waves. Still any clues that could shed light on what happened were found.
