The cause of the leak is not yet established
In the Berlin district of Lichterfelde, due to leakage of nitric acid on the production site, injured 18 people.
This writes the newspaper Berliner Zeitung.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 30, in the first half of the day in the company Schempp & Decker Präzisionsteile GmbH in the Lichterfelde district.
The amount of leakage was about 900 liters. All employees were evacuated, 15 of the injured were taken to hospital with respiratory tract lesions.
There is a possibility of getting acid into the city sewer system. Water quality is tested in the laboratory.
The cause of the leak is not yet established. The investigation is ongoing.
As previously reported, the network appeared photos and video of the massive explosion in Berlin on the area of Friedrichstein.
