Ukraine is ready to participate in the formation of a “gas corridor” with Hungary and Croatia.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said Ukraine’s readiness to participate in the formation of a “gas corridor” with Hungary and Croatia.
Groysman announced during the talks the Prime Minister of Croatia Andrei Plenkovich, the press service of the Cabinet.
“We are interested in creating a “gas corridor” Croatia – Hungary – Ukraine. Going to do to make this project closer to full implementation. We are interested in such gas supplies to Ukraine”, – said Groisman.
According to the report, Ukraine within the framework of diversification of natural gas supplies and to establish new forms of cooperation in the energy sphere with the countries of the European Union is ready to join the project of forming a new “gas corridor” Croatia – Hungary – Ukraine, which involves the use of capacities of the LNG terminal on the Croatian coast.
The project is included in the package of initiatives of the President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on the formation of a Central vertical cooperation of Adriatic – Baltic – Black sea. It involves not only supplies fuel, but also the possible Association of gas transmission systems of the three countries.
