We are talking about a 3D radar 80К6Т.
With a large field of view in elevation up to 70 degrees, the radar reveals the tactical and operational-tactical missiles.
A special system of processing of signals allows to detect small cruise missiles that go at low altitude with rounding terrain.
This radar can operate with all anti-aircraft missile systems, which are in service with the Armed forces of Ukraine. Its use will significantly strengthen the air component.
In addition, the use of the transmitter to a transistor power amplifier allows to increase the reliability of the radar. Even the failure of several modules does not lead to a complete shutdown inspection locator.
