Director of economic programs of the Ukrainian Institute for the future Anatoliy Amelin said that by 2022, the salary in Ukraine will increase exactly twice, but this trend is nothing to celebrate in advance.
According to experts, the GDP will grow annually by three or four percent, even if the country will not be carried out reform, and by 2020, the average salary will be 10.5 thousand hryvnia, and in 2022 – 13 thousand hryvnias. With a favorable forecast, said Amelin, taking into account the reform, the salary will increase twice, up to 14.5 thousand. The numbers don’t seem surprising, considering that in the beginning of 2016, the average salary in Ukraine amounted to 4.3 thousand, today — 7,3 thousand.
The growth is connected with increase of social benefits, the devaluation of the hryvnia only in the last instance — with the economic recovery.

Therefore, the “large numbers” does not mean an increase in solvency of citizens – along with the salaries will increase communal tariffs, food prices and so on.
