Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has repeatedly brought European countries accusations of Nazism. This time he called “grandchildren of the Nazi” Germany and the Netherlands

Turkish President also called on Turkish voters in Europe to support the referendum.
I urge my brothers and sisters, who vote in Europe, to respond to those who impose this fascist oppression, and grandchildren of Nazism. We will never allow that 3 or 4 European fascist hurt the honor and pride of our country, – said Erdogan.
Representatives of both countries were outraged by such comparisons.
