Dairy products are well represented in the diet of modern man.
Milk has always been considered a source of health.
However, in the new study, canadian experts came to the conclusion that milk consumption may increase the risk of prostate cancer. Scientists conducted a study which involved 197 men with prostate cancer and control group. Researchers were interested in information about 200 products, including meat, cereals, fruits, vegetables and nuts that are consumed subjects.
It turned out that milk consumption can cause health problems in men, namely, increases the risk of prostate cancer. The study was published in the journal the Prostate.
Experts have noticed that this is not the first case when the beneficial properties of milk are being questioned.
Previously, it was found that drinking milk can increase the risk of arthritis, asthma, heart disease and multiple sclerosis.
In turn back in the nineties in the course of the study, conducted in England, it was found that the proteins contained in milk, negatively affect the production of insulin, the hormone that regulates blood sugar levels.
