The company Capcom began work on a new horror.
The developers of Resident Evil said that Capcom began work on a new horror. The beginning of the development Director, reported that Resident Evil 7 Kosi Nakanishi (Kōshi Nakanishi) and the Director of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Yasuhiro ANPO (Yasuhiro Anpo).
“This time we were focused on creating a game about fear, but not had to forget the existing characters and plots. We have created for ourselves the slogan “Resident Evil is a terrible game”, but also created conditions for elaboration of other elements of the series. Besides, within the walls of Capcom there are many creators, including myself, and we all love Resident Evil. There is a great product and recently is in development, but we can’t announce it right now,” said Nakanishi.
Capcom employees are currently working on a great addition to Resident Evil 7 called “Not a Hero” about Chris Redfield, as well as on the re-release of Resident Evil 2. Nakanishi and ANPO stressed that the interview in question is not about them. According to the developers, the project is really great that allows to speak about the numbered part of the series called Resident Evil 8.
Resident Evil 7 was a new course for the first time, and Capcom moved the series to the genre of games from first person and on rails virtual reality. The developers noted that, despite restarting all the familiar characters and events in the new universe there are and have not gone away. The game became a commercial success for the company and to investors, the leaders expressed the desire to continue the series in a new style.
