Alpina will introduce a new XD3, most likely in March 2018.
In the Internet appeared spy photos of the new generation “charged” crossover Alpina XD3 built on the BMW X3. Apparently, this model will get cosmetic changes in appearance.
Sales of the first generation Alpina XD3 began in 2013. Since motorists are already offering the new BMW X3, and Alpina decided to produce a new generation of its crossover.
Alpina usually does not like much change the exterior design of the BMW models. So this time the new Alpina XD3 compared with its base model has a different front fascia, with a more aggressive design. This is the biggest change in appearance.
As for the elephant, the buyers will be able to choose several options upholstery and trim of the new XD3. Changes in the cabin will make this crossover even more premium look than before.
Alpina XD3 current generation is equipped with a 2.5 l diesel turbocharged engine power of 345 HP and 700 Nm of torque. In turn, the latest D5 S comes with a 3.0 l engine with three turbochargers power 382 HP and 800 Nm of torque. It is assumed that this 3.0 l unit will get a new XD3, which in this case will easily overtake the top version of BMW X3 M40i, in which the engine power reaches 355 HP and 500 Nm of torque.
Alpina will introduce a new XD3, most likely in March 2018 during the Geneva motor show. However, some sources claim that it may happen a little earlier – in January, during the Detroit auto show.
