This marketing plan is based on professional judgement, independent forecasts and leading companies. It takes into account prospective markets and relies on a whole array of current arrangements with partners.
“In accordance with the marketing plan, the world market for medium transport aircraft is estimated at 900 aircraft in the next 15 years. Therefore, GP Antonov plans to deliver over the 5 years 20 aircraft an-178 customers from CIS countries, Asia and Africa as well as Turkey. Also Antonov plans to return to a competitive market of regional passenger aircraft”, – stated in the message.
It is noted that after the transition of “Antonov” concern “Ukroboronprom” in the company in the first place found an alternative to Russian components in production equipment. In particular, in 2015 the production of aircraft an-178, the share of components from Russia amounted to 41%, and in 2016 the company completely abandoned parts of this country by going to components and assemblies from other suppliers.
