Lutsenko has promised to forgive crimes of the 1700 participants of the ATO.
After President Petro Poroshenko signed the law on Amnesty in 2016, with about 1700 participants of the ATO will be able to solve their problems with the law.
This was stated by the head of GPU, Yury Lutsenko during a briefing in Mykolaiv which was held on Monday, September 4.
According to him, the Amnesty will affect about 1,700 participants of the antiterrorist operation have committed minor crimes.
“Approximately 1,700 people from among the participants of the ATO or military personnel will be able for three months (three months) will be able to close their problems with the law,” – said Lutsenko.
He noted that 1,100 cases, this minor breach of discipline during service, e.g. unauthorized abandonment of military units are located, negligent performance of duties.
Lutsenko added that while it continues to review approximately 150 cases on servicemen who have committed serious crimes. Their Amnesty will not concern.
