Putin again “assigned” myself the Queen of France.
Russian President Vladimir Putin once again called the Kiev Prince Yaroslav the Wise and his daughter Queen of France Anna – Russian.
The corresponding statement the Russian leader made in an interview with French newspaper Le Figaro.
“In the eleventh century came the youngest daughter of one of our Grand princes Yaroslav the Wise, Anna, who became the wife of French king Henry I. Her name was Anna Russian, Queen of France,” – said Putin.
According to him, such “kinship” brings together the Russian Federation and France.
“We have much deeper, although for the last 300 years the relationship has developed the most intensively, it’s true,” said Putin.
