Champion of Ukraine MMA Svyatoslav Pilipenko was killed in a shootout on one of the beaches of Poltava, which took place on August 10.
The company is composed mostly of current and former MMA fighters celebrated a birthday, and during the day she had a conflict with the tenants of the beach — a 45-year-old Alexander Marchenko and his son, 21-year-old Marchenko, who were in the shop at the beach.
In the evening of disagreement has reached a critical point, so Alexander Marchenko decided to scare the players of his hunting “Saiga”. This angered the company of fighters who broke into the store with bats and pistols and started beating the man.
Seeing this, the son of Alexander Marchenko Roman fired several shots at the attackers from a “Saiga”, fatally wounding shot Svyatoslav Pilipenko, another 24-year-old athlete and a seven year old boy. After that, the sportsmen opened fire in response.
At the moment Alexander Marchenko with a severe skull fracture is in intensive care in Poltava regional hospital, his son also hospitalized. Pilipenko died on the spot.
Note that the police managed to detain one of the attackers, one is under guard in hospital. The rest managed to escape, the city declared the plan “Interception”.
