The main attractions of the Hungarian capital.

Visa-free regime allows us to visit many European capitals without much financial expenditure. If you find a budget airline or ride the bus, even for the weekend you will be able to see one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in the world – the fabulous Budapest.
Here is what you should see in this city.

The Hungarian Parliament building

This is probably the most popular among tourists and the most famous building in Budapest. The Hungarian Parliament is simply amazing grandeur and beauty, so the townspeople are very proud of this “trick” of the city. Its architecture is intricately interwoven elements of neo-Gothic style on the model of the Palace of Westminster in London and the influence of the Paris Beaux-Ara.

When it gets dark, the city lights up incredible fantastic colors. If you are in Budapest, be sure to go to this facility in the evening and drink hot tea on the waterfront. These moments you will never forget.

Fisherman’s Bastion

This is one of the most famous sights of the Hungarian capital. Architectural building located on the Castle hill in Buda. Fabulous huge fortress with high towers, long staircases, arcades and terraces quite similar to a military facility, but this facility was built in late 19 – early 20 century to protect the city from enemies. Bastion has performed the additional role of a “beautiful backdrop” for the Church of St. Matthias. The fishermen’s Bastion received its name from the fact that in the middle ages this place was the area where they sold fish, and ramparts was to protect the fishermen.

Heroes ‘ Square

Here, as a rule, stop at all the tourist buses and locals meet at this place to have fun with friends. If to compare with Kiev – a kind of Independence.

There are many monuments and two interesting museums. Very close to beautiful city Park Városliget, where you can lie on the grass, eat, dip the toes in the piece the lake and feed the pigeons (although by law it is forbidden).

Andrassy Avenue

From Heroes square starts Andrassy Avenue. Built this grandiose street in honor of the Millennium of Hungary in the late 19th century. Now on andrássy Avenue live all the stars, in other words – the elite of Hungarian society. The property prices here are just through the roof. This Avenue is often called the local “Champs-elysées”. It is here is flat-Museum of Hungarian classical composer Franz Liszt.

Chain bridge

Very beautiful suspension bridge over the Danube river connecting the two historical parts of Budapest – Buda and pest. Opened in 1849, becoming the first permanent bridge across the river. He was named in honor of the Hungarian politician count istván section who have invested a lot of money and effort into its construction. Some time this bridge was considered one of the wonders of the world.

Royal Palace

Over 700 years of age Royal Palace was the residence of Hungarian kings. The building was erected in the 13th century for the Hungarian king Bela IV, was rebuilt many times each new Governor, and survived in the Baroque style.

The other name of the Palace – Buda castle. Today the halls of the Royal residence occupy three prominent Fund: the Hungarian national gallery, the national széchenyi library and the Budapest history Museum.

Budapest is a perfect place to have fun. This city’s rich history is best learned in small details.

Do not try over the weekend see all: focus on some of the most interesting to you museums, buildings, monuments. Take a stroll through the small streets to see the lives of ordinary residents of the Hungarian capital.

If all fails, the best memories of Budapest is always some little thing, for example, smile impulsive Italian Chain bridge or a funny taxi driver.
