Scientists have found traces of life in the spectrum of Saturn

NASA has revealed unexpected facts about life on the planet.

An important discovery was made by Cassini station. There found in the rings of Saturn a large number of “blocks of life”, making them similar in composition to comets.

His last moments of life, Cassini spent in the special zone starnovsky atmosphere where there is an exotic “rain” of water droplets and dust particles. They gradually fall into Saturn with surrounding rings.

Traces of the rain found in the spectrum of the atmosphere of Saturn in 1980-ies, however, until the fall of the Cassini astronomers were not sure that this constant stream of dust and water is born in the rings.

When Cassini plunged into the atmosphere of Saturn, scientists expect to see only simple molecules – hydrogen, helium, methane, ammonia and nitrogen. However, the sensors recorded the complex organic matter – dozens of types of unsaturated and aromatic hydrocarbons, alcohols, formic acid and a variety of other potential “building blocks of life.”

Therefore, scientists have concluded that Saturn’s rings contain a large quantity of organic matter, and chemical and isotopic composition of matter, they are similar to comets, which consist of approximately half of the organic compounds.
