MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. The amount of debt Russians for alimony for the end of 2019 amounted to 152 billion rubles, updating the historical maximum. The number of debtors in comparison with 2018 has decreased, but the amount of unpaid child support increased by 13%, reported on Wednesday “news” with reference to the statements of the Federal bailiff service (FSSP).

According to the FSSP, the number of debtors as at the end of 2019 has decreased from 825,5 thousand to 806,4 million (19.1 thousand cases in comparison with indicators of 2018). According to the calculations of “Izvestia”, the average amount of debt increased from 162 thousand rubles for the end of 2018 to 189 thousand rubles at the end of 2019, bringing the total amount of uncollected child support increased by 13%. The publication presents data according to which the amount of arrears of child support with 2012 increased in seven and a half times – it amounted to 19.8 brur.
