Ukraine set a record for exports of sugar

In the 2016/2017 marketing year Ukraine exported 769,3 thousand tons of sugar, which is an absolute record over the years of independence. It is reported Association Ukrtsukor.

For the last month of the marketing year, August, Ukrainian producers have supplied to foreign markets 18.3 thousand tons of sugar.

Major deliveries were carried out in Azerbaijan, 7.8 thousand tons, Turkey – 5,2 thousand t, Georgia – 2.5 thousand tons and Moldova -1,4 kt.

This season sharovarova started on 30 August. As of September 5, there are five sugar factories and produced 7.3 kt of sugar.
