Ukraine more than 600 days living without Russian gas.

The government has committed to waive any dependencies.

Ukraine has more than 600 days living, not buying Russian gas. At the same time, the state energy company of Ukraine did not buy Russian coal.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, reports the press service of the Cabinet.

The Prime Minister also assured that the government is making every effort to strengthen the economy and diversification of export markets and sources of imports, including energy.

“For eighteen years, we have reduced the consumption of anthracite coal, go to coal gas, modernize mining. And you know, the state company Russian coal do not buy”, – said Groisman.

He also noted that the government took the policy to waive any dependencies, and for this, develops its own production of energy, especially coal and gas.
