The President of Poland will visit Ukraine with official visit

Wednesday, December 13, Andrzej Duda will arrive on an official visit to Kharkiv.

The Polish President intends to honor the memory of the victims of the poles and to discuss security.

During his visit the President of Poland intends to honor the memory of those killed by the NKVD of Polish soldiers, as well as to meet with the head of the Ukrainian state. Andrzej Duda will arrive to Kharkov to take part in the wreath-laying ceremony honors the fallen poles buried in the cemetery of victims of totalitarianism. This was reported on the official website of the Polish President. In addition, this day will be a meeting with the participation of heads of state of Poland and Ukraine as well as representatives of OSCE and UNDP.

During the meeting it is planned to discuss security policy in the context of the situation that unfolded in Eastern Ukraine. Press-service of administration of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko also confirmed the information about the visit of Andrzej Duda. On the AP website said Poroshenko intends to take part in the talks with the Polish President. Note that the relations between Ukraine and Poland today, a few tight. Earlier, the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Poland Witold Waszczykowski categorically spoke against Bandera and the UPA, and after the head of state Andrzej Duda spoke about elimination of the Ukrainian government entities, with anti-Polish sentiments.
