The flames of the witch – a new game from the creators of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

One of the most pleasant discoveries in the gaming world in recent years has been the most beautiful toy with the awesome atmosphere of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter from the Studio The Astronaut. Several years later, the developers remembered that once worked on the shooter Painkiller and Bulletstorm – that “sauce” within the The Game Awards 2017 they presented their new project.

The game is called Witchfire, which can be translated as “the Flame witch” or “Witch fire”. Is not clear or when the range will be released or what platforms will be released (though the release on the PC on Steam will take place exactly), but it is already clear that it will be a shooter with monsters.

Developers are reminded that they managed to sell over a million copies The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, which was an adventure game and has grabbed a prestigious BAFTA award for innovative gameplay, but admit that they always wanted to do a real shooter. We have to think Witchfire is just a step in the right direction.
