At the police station on new Zealand whangaparaoa Peninsula works cat Snickers. He appeared there in 2016, and helps victims of crime recover or calm down. Instagram cat Snickers came in July 2017.
Snickers is my third over 25 years, the cat in the police station in lower Hutt. As explained by staff, the animals help law enforcement agencies to show that “police are people too”.
