Independence Day photographer and military journalist Dmitrii Belyakov posted on his page in Facebook impressive photos from the zone ATO.
“It was a year ago, during the fighting on 22 and 23 August 2016, when I stayed in one of the Ukrainian battalions in the area of Marinka. An unforgettable night. It was very scary. Thank you all for what survived, for unprecedented confidence,” wrote the network Dmitry Belyakov.
The photo depicts everyday life of the Ukrainian military in between fights. Photographer for two days he lived together with the Ukrainian military and local residents in shelters. Also in the photos you can see how Ukrainian soldiers help locals put out the fire after the shelling.
