On Saturday, September 16, the Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced that the co-owners of Ukraine International airlines and some high-ranking officials organized against him an information campaign in the media.
He stated this during a meeting with journalists.
“In my opinion, the goal (information campaign – ed.) is very simple. Because it is not possible to discredit me in some corruption schemes, I decided to just “pull” some facts, present them, “poperchiv” with all sorts of speculation,” said Omeljan.
“In this particular case, of course, is the owners of the company of MAU, in this case I suspect the involvement of some senior officials of Ukraine who are interested in my discredit. But it is on their conscience, I believe that I am doing the right thing and win”, – he added.
