The Japanese company became the owner of American Uber

The tender was won by the SoftBank Group.

Japanese telecommunications Corporation SoftBank will buy about 20% of the American company Uber from a group of investors and employees of the service of online taxi.

It is noted that the winner in the tender for the right to purchase securities Uber became a SoftBank Group. The Japanese are going to eventually reduce the number of shares up to 15% to other investors that participated in the tender, too, could purchase the remaining five percent.

As you know, the current capitalization Uber valued at $48 billion.

“SoftBank will buy a share of the American company at a discount of almost 30%,” – said in The Wall Street Journal.
