The money confiscated from former President Viktor Yanukovych, it is impossible to use without making changes in the budget, said the Finance Ministry.
Earlier, the court confiscated the money of Yanukovych’s entourage in the amount of $ 1.5 billion. In turn, the defence denies the involvement of Yanukovych to them and claim that the former head of state on the account in Oshchadbank only 28 million.
“Currency funds from the special confiscation transferred to the account of the state Treasury. Exceeding more than 11.5 billion UAH counts, however, can only be used after making changes to the Law on the State budget”, – stated in the message.
The Ministry said that the money from seizure, which is a one-time admission, have limitations according to the budget law and can only be used for one-time expenditures.
