The car “VAZ 2101” in the center of Odessa blew up as a result of the explosive device, which was laid in the area of the rear left passenger seat.

“On characteristic damages of a specified vehicle clearly defines the place of the explosion – the area of the rear left passenger seat. Currently previously it is established that the specified car explosion was the result of the action bezobolochnoe explosive device. TNT equivalent detonated charge is about 600 grams. Sets the type of explosives,” – said the police.
Experts-bomb experts continue their work at the scene.
“The issue of entering of data in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations, preliminary legal qualification of part 2 of article 194 (intentional destruction or damage of property) of the Criminal code of Ukraine”, – said the police.
