The African plague has reached the South of Ukraine

A new outbreak of a dangerous disease.

In the Kherson region recorded outbreak of African swine fever.

As noted, on September 19 in his household of a citizen in the village of Bekhtery Hola Prystan district, Kherson region registered the death of pigs. In the study of samples of biological material, September 21, was diagnosed with African swine fever (ASF), said the press service of the State service of Ukraine on issues of food safety and consumer protection.

For coordination of actions on localization and liquidation of outbreaks of ASF held a meeting of the State extraordinary antiepizootic Commission which approved the plan to eliminate ASF, defines the borders of epidemic hearth, zones of protection and supervision.

Now in the hearth of the disease, the measures for containment and prevention of spread of the causative agent of ASF.
