Russia October 21, terminated the agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on cooperation in the field of television and radio.

21 October 2017 suspended the Agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on cooperation in the field of television and radio broadcasting, signed in Moscow on 23 October 2000, – stated in the message.
Under this agreement, both parties agreed to use the Russian language with the translation of Russian programs on the territory of Ukraine in accordance with Ukrainian language in the Ukrainian broadcast programmes on the territory of Russia.
