Putin has allowed a foreign military to participate in foreign operations

Foreign citizens are allowed to serve under the contract in armed forces of the Russian Federation since 2003.

The head of the Kremlin Vladimir Putin has allowed to foreign citizens from among servicemen of the armed forces to participate in operations outside of the Russian Federation.

The corresponding decree published on the portal of legal information.

“Soldiers who are foreign citizens, participate in the fighting, perform the tasks in a state of emergency or martial law, armed conflicts, and participate in activities to maintain or restore international peace and security or to suppress international terrorist activities outside the Russian Federation”, – the document says.

Note that foreign citizens are allowed to serve under the contract in armed forces of the Russian Federation since 2003.
