On 14 April at the motor show in new York debut, the updated SUV Ford Explorer 2018 model year. Externally, the facelifted version has received minor changes, but the technical “stuffing” of the car, on the contrary, considerably increased.
Ford Explorer has received a new front and upgraded rear bumpers, a different grille and some new chrome parts body design. In addition, a slightly changed rear bumper, and Explorer Sport modifications, Platinum and equipped with the 3.5 EcoBoost motor, can be distinguished by four exhaust pipes. Also, there are four new exterior paint colours and five additional variants of wheel disks.
Under the hood, updated Explorer is located 2.3-liter Eco Boost engine efficiency 280 horsepower. In version Platinum and Sport on the car is set 3.5-liter V6 for 365 horsepower. In all trim levels Explorer equipped with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.
Expanded the “Explorer” and the range of available equipment. For example, it has a 4G modem, which can provide access to the Internet via Wi-Fi direct ten mobile devices (despite the fact that the seats in the SUV seven). The options list now includes a security package Safe&Smart, which included a limited set of driver’s assistants. Finally, Ford has released a mobile app with which you can remotely control certain functions of the car.
