Powerful Typhoon in Vietnam: dozens killed

Missing another 19 people.

The number of casualties due to Typhoon “Demri” in Vietnam has increased to 44.

In the South-Central region experienced flooding. According to Vietnamese authorities, more than 116 thousand homes were damaged or destroyed. In addition, 19 people are still missing. Among them nine members of the crew of cargo ships that sank off the coast of the province Khan Hoa.

Recall that Typhoon “Demri” reached Vietnam on 4 November. Caused by nature floods are likely to worsen because the region is expected heavy rain. Among the regions affected, including da Nang, where this week will be held economic summit. It intend to be present, in particular, the President of the United States Donald trump, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader XI Jinping.
