In 15 cities of Ukraine last year has seen a high level of air pollution. This was announced by the Ministry of ecology and natural resources at the request of UNN.
According to authorities, the dirtiest cities of Ukraine became the Dnieper, monay, Odessa, Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Kherson, Kherson, Nikolayev, Lutsk, Krivoy Rog, Mariupol, Kiev, Kishinev, Kiev and Uzhgorod.
In the Ministry explained that the high level of air pollution due to high content of specific harmful substances – formaldehyde, phenol, hydrogen fluoride, and ammonia.
The most contaminated regions of Ukraine by the end of 2016 recognized as Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lugansk. The overall level of pollution of atmospheric air in Ukraine in 2016 was estimated as high.
