“The most intelligent” city in the world in 2017, is named the capital of Denmark Copenhagen. These are the results of a study conducted by the Swedish IT-companies EasyPark, which studied 500 cities in the world and called the most “clever” of them.
The key criteria that must be met for smart city, the researchers identified access to 4G, the number of access points Wi-Fi and a high level of smartphone usage. Traffic and mobility must be ensured with the use of modern knowledge and technology. In addition, smart city should focus on clean energy sources and projects.
According to these criteria were analyzed more than 500 cities, of which one hundred leaders helped to identify more than 20 thousand journalists in urban planning and development of information technology.
Second and third place in the ranking took Singapore and Stockholm, respectively. The remaining places in the top ten most “smart” cities the world took Zurich, Boston, Tokyo, San Francisco, Amsterdam, Geneva and Melbourne. London was on the 17th place, and Paris – 19-m. In Germany, the “smart” was named Berlin, who took 13th place in the world ranking.
