A horse named Moonlight, living in the Australian state of Queensland has adopted the orphaned calf aged about a week.
Pet owners have released a touching video, which depicted as the horse tries to care for the baby.
According to the owner of the farm Gerda Glasson, she wanted to return a stray calf from the stall, but he confidently walked to the horse and even tried to drink her milk, but the Moon light was not there.
“The Moonlight was never milk. Her only foal was born dead 10 years ago. Had ourselves to feed the calf,” said Glasson.
According to the woman, the couple still have to share, as Moonlight is used as a race horse while playing Polo.
“I do not think that the calf can keep her company during the matches,” said the Australian.
