Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko wants to prosecute the three MPs for non-payment of taxes in especially large sizes. The corresponding representation he served in the Verkhovna Rada in the near future.
“Finally we have received from the fiscal services response on conducted spot checks of three deputies out of 17 shows which set of tax evasion, respectively 60, 50 and 40 thousand hryvnias”, – he said at a meeting in the GPU Wednesday, February 15.
Lutsenko said that these MPs have two options: to pay the amounts of unpaid taxes or go to jail for up to three years.
“This is the first three of the first batch of 17 members, which we will check”, – added the Prosecutor General.
He did not rule out that such representations can relate to 65 deputies, electronic declarations which show tax evasion.
