Groisman denies the possibility of increasing gas prices for population

The Cabinet has promised not to raise gas prices for the population.

The government will not allow the growth of prices for gas for the population.

This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman, reports the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

“I will not allow any raise of gas tariffs for the population’s needs. And those who claim a possible price increase by 40%, needs or responsible work, or to write the application on dismissal” – quoted Prime Minister’s press service.

Earlier it was reported that chief commercial officer of Naftogaz of Ukraine Yuriy Vitrenko said about a possible increase in the price of natural gas for the population from April 1, 2017 40% in the case that will not be renewed entrusted to Naftogaz of Ukraine a special obligation to sell gas to the population on preferential terms.
