“Karpaty” beat “Vorskla”, “Olympic” Doge “Star”

Three matches kicked off the 13th round of the championship of Ukraine on football.

Crazy free kick Serhiy Miakushko brought Karpaty second win of the season and has allowed Lviv to jump on the eighth line in standings. Vorskla suffered a third defeat in their last five games and missed the chance to catch up with Dynamo Kyiv.

Olympic double majority Doge “Star” and extended its winning streak to three matches that allowed the team of Roman Sanzhar bypass “Vorskla” and climb to third place. Guests, despite the two penalties, was close to a sensational victory, but in the end the match even when the score was 0:0 failed to convert two lethal counter-attacks.

“Alexandria” is the most peaceful team of the championship – in the home match against “Heather” wards of Volodymyr Sharan has issued the seventh draw of the season. In stoppage time Alexandria seemed to have snatched three points but a goal after a cross from a free kick was rightly disallowed for offside.
