Formula 1: Hamilton won the pole position at the United States Grand Prix

The pilot “Mercedes” Lewis Hamilton won the qualification in Austin and another step closer to the title.

The first segment with a score of 1:34.822 won Hamilton and qualification was completed for Ericsson, Stroll, Hartley, Wehrlein and Magnussen.

In the second segment of Hamilton have again updated the record (1:33.437). To top 10 not got Kvyat, Massa, Vandorn, Grosjean and Hulkenberg. In full force to fight for the pole moved “Mercedes”, “Ferrari”, “Red bull” and “Force India”.

Pole position, Hamilton was brought round in 1:33.108. Vettel in the second attempt added, however, to overtake season leader could not. The Briton won the 11th qualifying session of the season and 72nd in his career.
