In Russia rally “For the turnover of power”

The unusual procession passed in one of cities of the Russian Federation.

In Rostov-on-don (Russia) held a meeting, where participants advocated for the turnover of power.

The event was organized by the local branch of the public movement “Open Russia”. It was attended by activists of the regional headquarters of Alexei Navalny, political parties PARNAS and Civic initiative.

The organizers of the rally timed to the anniversary of the August 1991 coup in Moscow. Then the self-proclaimed “State emergency Committee” (GKCHP) has opposed democratic reforms.

The protesters demanded change of power, criticized the current government of the Russian Federation.

According to one of the organizers Vadim Kobzev, the official propaganda is trying to impose on the citizens their notions of patriotism but civil activists are trying to counter such propaganda.

In a rally held in Lenin square, was watched by the police. They did not intervene. Source: https://censor.net.ua/p452432
