In Russia “Jehovah’s witnesses” recognized extremists

This decision was taken on April 20.

Russia’s Supreme court declared extremist activity “administrative center of Jehovah’s witnesses in Russia” and forbade his work in the country.

This decision was taken on April 20.

The Supreme court upheld the claim of the Ministry of justice banning “Jehovah’s Witnesses”. In addition, the court decided to draw in the income of the state property of the organization.

It is noted that the center “Jehovah’s Witnesses” may appeal decision: if a complaint is filed, the decision on the ban will not come into force.

However, the justice Ministry had already suspended the operation of the center until final resolution of the dispute in court.
