In Iran, an unknown attacker with a knife at people

The assailant was arrested and sent to the police station, the reason for the attack is not yet established

One person was killed and two injured in an attack by a stranger with a knife at a bus stop in the South of Tehran.

According to the head of the Agency for emergency situations of Hassan Abasi, on Tuesday at 16.30 (15.00 GMT), an unidentified man attacked with a knife at a bus stop in the South of Tehran. One person was killed and two were injured.

Two of the victims were taken to hospital, their condition is estimated as satisfactory.

The assailant was arrested and sent to the police station. The reason for the attack is not yet established.
