Almost all popular browsers except Internet Explorer increased its market share.

The most popular browser remains Chrome from Google. During the year the share of Chrome has increased from 48.65% to 59,36%. The growth of the share of the browser did not stop for a month and amounted to 10.7% for the period from June 2016 to may 2017.

At the same time, the share of Firefox has increased by 4% and Microsoft Edge — only 0.54%. Interestingly, growth is observed also for Safari browser from Apple, but only in the last month. During the period from June last year to may this Internet Explorer has lost 14.1 per cent.

It is important to note that these statistics are prepared on the basis of data provided by the partners StatCounter and NetMarketShare – 2.5 million and 20,000 sites, respectively. Thus, these data may not fully reflect the real situation. However, these data reflect well the trends of the browser market, noted by NeoWin.
