Earlier this year, Google announced that Chrome will install into your own blocker to prevent users from Intrusive ads. Now the company has announced that innovation will be launched in a browser February 15, 2018.
As a California-based giant has said before, the new system will not block all ads. It will only delete ads that do not meet the quality standards established “by the Coalition for better advertising” (Coalition for Better Ads). We are talking about advertising, which is displayed on the entire screen, includes automatically play audio and video, haunting flashes and so on.
Google notifies sites that contain such ads, potential blocking through a system of Ad Experience Report. If the resource owner does not take necessary action within 30 days, the entire ad on his website is blocked by the browser — even one that “comes to Google or is in her possession.” The administrator then needs to manually apply to the recovery of the advertising resource.
According to Google, the goal of the program is to help publishers to eliminate low-quality ads all over the Internet. This could reduce the number of people who use third party ad blockers and thus reduce the income of bona fide sites.
