Russian Opposition leader Alexei Navalny has accepted the invitation to hold a debate with the former “defense Minister DNR” Igor Girkin (Strelkov).
On his website, Navalny said that he was interested in the conversation Girkin, who challenged him to a debate on behalf of the Russian nationalists.
“This conversation with Igor Ivanovich Strelkov, which of course expresses the opinion of a certain group of citizens of the Russian Federation, I am interested and I am willing to participate in it,” wrote Navalny.
The oppositionist also has added that counts on the support of all voters who allege their nationalist views, despite the fact that many of them – including Girkin – he largely different views.
According to Navalny, in the near future his team will be in contact with Girkin to determine the timing and format of the debate.
